Subtitle: In My Head and Heart
Who inspires you to keep trying and not give up despite your Migraines?
My husband, Jim, is the dear heart in my life who has my back at all times, and who keeps encouraging me every step of the way. He tries his best to understand my Migraines. He has lived through so many of them with me.
I was hoping Botox for Migraines would have been the answer to all my prayers for a stop to these assaults. But it hasn’t worked out that way. I wanted this to work for Jim as well as myself. It hurts to let him down so much. He has to go out to group dinners and gatherings without his partner by his side.
He’s put his retirement on hold for me as well. Jim saw how going to work even part time was too much for me. He encouraged me to leave my job and apply for Social Security Disability. That was over two years ago. I’m still waiting for my hearing. It’s been difficult relying on only one income, and Jim had been planning to be retired by now. However, he loves and supports me and doesn’t want me to have to hold down a job while suffering Migraines anymore.
It’s for Jim that I’m inspired to move forward and keep fighting these beasts. I love him very much for all he’s been for me.

This really touched me. I’m so glad that you and your husband are able to make it one one income, and that he’s still working so you can hold down the job of being a Migraineur. I hope your hearing comes soon, and you get mega financial help.
Thank you very much for your comments and good wishes. I appreciate it Jamie.
