Today is “free” blog day where we can write about anything we wish (relating to migraines).
I’m at our coast in Oregon this weekend on mini-vacay, so I will keep this short and sweet. As I write this, my silicone earplugs are stuffed in my ears because we drew the short stick this time and have a basketball court between the ocean and our suite. The pounding of the ball on the cement is not my friend, but I’m dealing with it cause that’s what we do or try to do, right?
Anyway, my main purpose here is to say a huge Thank You! to Teri and Ellen, the other overseers, The National Headache Foundation, and http://www.FightingHeadacheDisorders.com for initiating National Migraine Awareness Month and this blog challenge. What a gift it’s been for me to read your stories, to nod in
sympathy, to cheer, laugh or cry with you and to understand the pain you’re going through! This challenge has meant a lot to me. Though I’ve been under the migraine influence quite a bit, I do have my moments of clarity that enable me to participate. Writing is a wonderful therapy. I thank you so much for this awesome opportunity. We can learn so much from each other.
